I will say, it is nice to have a number of usable loops that are longer than only one or two measures. The loops are simply awaiting context by having a song to call home. There is plenty of content within the bundle and I find a high percentage very usable. This has been the case with my previous GrooveMonkee drum loop purchases. That said, I feel confident most of the Big Easy package will find a home in one song or another over time. Only then can their real function and value be appreciated. A loop needs to find it's place within the arrangement of a song or composition. Just clicking on and listening to the loops (any drum loops) by themselves is short lived entertainment-for me, anyway. Now that BandLab owns the software, my dream has, at last, come true Cakewalk gives you the ability to compose, record, edit, mix, master, and share (you can publish directly to.

I remember a time when I desperately wanted SONAR Platinum, because I knew everything that was included with it. Of course, the real value of the loops can only be measured when "using them" in context to a song or performance. Cakewalk is basically SONAR Platinum, which originally cost 499. There seems to be sufficient usable content in the MIDI Loop bundle. I'm using the GrooveMonkee loops within EZDrummer 1 and/or Superior Drummer, btw.

so, to write an in depth review after so little time to experiment is perhaps incomplete but I'll try to offer something here. I've only just begun using the Big Easy Drum Loops package. Delivering on our 1 feature request, VST plugins have come to Reason. Hi all as I wrote in the subject, I want to sell: Digital Performer 9.5.

Mainly I use it for starting my setup or to experiment what sound I want, which influences how I play. If you were playing the EZ and you were wanting to play around with a guitar (mic or some analog input), then you would either hit record (with auto) or just IN which is "pass through" that way you can play to the drums with EZ (without a clip) and play with plugins, to get a sound you are looking for. First, I was able to play EZ and hit the record but Ableton didn't record anything because it did not receive any MIDI signals, but it played.
